It's been surreal being back in NYC. The universe flows in ways that are still surprising to me, but right now for so many reasons my path has come back to this city. The summer is still going strong, but I can safely say it's been one of the best so far.

16. Ghosts

Walking the same streets not waiting but wondering if a ghost would appear. 

The morning came as a bright reminder she danced with the devil a little to late, for a few steps to long. 

How many dawns did you see this summer? In places with faces that reminded you how much you once loved him.

She rolled over and kissed him a thousand times, still surprised that he wanted ten thousand more, just giving her a million reasons to forget the ghost, and not be afraid to love.
